Based in Asia since 2004, Nate advises global companies on navigating Chinese competition law, trade sanctions, and compliance challenges. He has represented clients in high-stakes investigations and enforcement actions, offering unique insights into China’s legal and regulatory landscape.


Geir Hågen Larsen 


Associated partner in Communications at Geelmuyden Kiese (GK)

Former Armed Forces leading expert on strategic influence operations and strategic communication, and senior staff officer at Armed Forces Crisis Staff.


Bernt J. Berg - Nielsen 


Portfolio manager at Stolt Kapitalforvaltning, where he leads the Stolt Explorer fund. He also uses artificial intelligence in his investment process and emphasises the importance of game theory in navigating today’s economic landscape.


Gørild Merethe Heggelund


Research Professor at the Fridtjof Nansen Institute, specialising in Chinese climate and environmental policy. With a PhD in political science, she has advised the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contributed to UN climate negotiations. Her work focuses on China's role in global environmental governance and climate action.

Håkon Borud, Chair of the BNCC, Partner First House 


Håkon has extensive experience as a former newspaper journalist, editor and manager. He has led change and digital transformation processes of local, regional and national news outlets in the face of new competition. Håkon holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Sussex in the UK.
